Scoot 4 Nepal is set to be a monumental mission & challenge.
1000km doesn’t sound too far, but on roads so bad that people in the UK can barely fathom, each km feels more like 20km!
Tony (Shiva Chairman) will be aiming to ride through Nepal to raise as much money as possible to help bring clean drinking water to rural schools in Nepal.
To add some Nepali “spice”, Tony won’t be using an adventure bike or off-road machine. Instead, he will be facing some of the worst roads in the world on a pink 125cc scooter!
It costs around £1500 to install a water purification system that will serve the needs of a rural school for over 5 years. The aim of Sccot4Nepal is to bring fresh, clean, safe drinking water to as many rural schools as possible.
We are asking for help in any way. This could be individual donations, corporate sponsorship or practical help. Please do use the link at the bottom to get in touch or reach out to any of your friends who may already be involved with this amazing project.

Shiva Charity is an established charity that has been operating in Nepal for over 30 years.
As well as providing vital assistance during times of natural disaster one of the core missions of Shiva Charity is to bring clean, safe drinking water to the schools of rural Nepal.
We all take safe drinking water for granted. However, in rural areas of Nepal, drinking water can contain disease. Children are particularly at risk, especially after the monsoon season where drains can block and overflow. Bottled water is not an option for many, mainly due to cost.
Shiva Charity has been providing a water purification system that can process hundreds of litres per day. This allows children at schools where this system is installed to have clean, safe water for drinking and hand washing. In addition, there is enough for them to be able to fill containers and take water home for family use. Thus, making a huge difference to the daily lives of hundreds of Nepali children and their families.

We offer a range of business partnership packages designed to create meaningful connections between your company and children in Nepal, while strengthening your corporate social responsibility and enhancing your brand’s image.
